A review publisher with one job

Slate Casino Review reviews online casinos and sportsbooks licensed by the Gambling Commission for Great Britain. For every brand we record who holds the licence, what it covers and where its register entry is, and we print the welcome offer with every significant term, marked up so the conditions are easy to find.

Slate Casino Review is an independent review publisher, not a gambling operator. We do not take bets, run games, open accounts or hold anyone's money. We have no ownership in any operator we review.

The name

Why Slate

A slate is the board a list is written on, in chalk, so it can be checked and corrected. That is how we treat each line on this site: a set of facts with a date on it, rewritten the moment something changes. Casino in our name describes what we review; we are not one.

The publisher and the editors

Slate Casino Review is published by Khanum Media, Unipessoal Lda, registered in Portugal, NIPC: 517492038. Registered office: Rua do Rabaçal 155, 4410-232 Canelas, Portugal.

The editors compile and check every review. This edition is dated October 2026. Every review shows the date it was last checked, and we correct mistakes as soon as we hear about them.

Limits

What we will not do

  • Review a brand without an active Gambling Commission licence.
  • Sell a place on the slate, or let a commission change what we write.
  • Publish tips, predictions or any suggestion that gambling pays.
  • Invent reviews, scores, players or winners.
  • Write for people under 18, or use imagery that appeals to them.

Coverage

Great Britain only

Slate Casino Review covers sites licensed by the Gambling Commission, whose licences cover Great Britain. Northern Ireland has separate gambling law, so nothing on this site is aimed at readers there.
